May 19, 2021 in Press Release

Nitrosphere’s network performance software, NitroAccelerator, is approved and available to the United States Air Force (USAF) and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies

AUSTIN, Texas., May 18, 2021 – Nitrosphere Corporation, a software company specializing in network acceleration for Microsoft-based applications, announced that NitroAccelerator 7.x was certified for use on user workstations (SCA-CTD-0324) and DoD Server Core Configuration systems (SCA-CTD-0224) and added to the Air Force Approved Product List.

NitroAccelerator is a critical tool that provides reliable network acceleration without requiring proxy connections or additional hardware to operate.

Product testing within the Air Mobility Command (AMC) and Air Education and Training Command Programs (AETC) is underway in multiple locations with initial results showing .NET Application performance improvements between 50% and 89% with improved reliability. Initial test results justify that hours of application lag time will be saved, along with a sharp decrease of bandwidth usage. The Nitrosphere team looks forward to sharing official test result highlights when it becomes available.

“Receiving Cyberspace Capabilities Center (CCC) certification for NitroAccelerator proves to our customers that they are partnering with a well-vetted vendor with trustworthy and capable network acceleration software,” said Mark Wright, Cofounder of Nitrosphere. “We look forward to being of service to additional agencies and departments within the DoD and USAF.”
